Golden Reiki

Golden Reik is an antient healing form that channels golden healing light energy channeled through a Reiki Master.  Reiki helps reduce anxiety, insomnia, depression and balances your chakras y sending healing light to the body's meridian points where key glands and organs are found.  This light energy allows the body to enter a higher state of consciousness, elevating your frequency and creating a harmonized state allowing heart, mind and body to heal naturally.  Reiki in Japanese comes from the words Rei meaning "Gods wisdom or Higher power" and Ki which means "life force energy."

During the Golden Reiki session you experience healing light energy as the Reiki Practitioner hovers their hands close to meridian points. Energy is channeled through the practitioner's hands that despite being inches away, transfer energy force leading you to sense the transference of energy. The Magnet lady offers Golden Reiki by Nationally Certified Reiki Masters trained in the lineage of Reiki Founder Dr. Mikao Usui.

Reiki in hospitals

Since the ‘90's hospitals in the US began integrating Reiki Therapy to help patients heal. Despite popular belief, extensive research supports the benefits of this energy healing practice. Therapists, including nurses and physicians, who use it report that Reiki helps patients feel calm and experience less pain, even in acute and chronic pain conditions. Evidence demonstrates that Reiki boosts the immune system; improves sleep, speeds up healing, reduces stress, reduces need for pain medication and has no side effects or contraindications (IARP).  At Johns Hopkins Reiki is described as a method of transmitting Universal Life Energy to create deep relaxation, speed healing, reduce pain, and decrease other symptoms (Johns Hopkins).

Multiple studies have tested the validity, value and impact of Reiki within hospital standards. A
t Hartford Hospital, a study found that Reiki improved patients sleep quality by 86%, reduced pain by 78%, reduced nausea by 80%, and anxiety in expecting mothers by 94%. At Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, a Reiki practitioner assists a Cardiothoracic surgeon  in the operating room. In heart patients treated with Reiki, no depression was reported despite depression being an expected post-operative side effect in heart patients. Heart patients also experienced ho pain or leg weakness after organ transplants and zero cases of organ rejection when Reiki was incorporated in the recovery.
